Hello!
I'm Amalina Zubir, graduated with a Higher Nitec in Filmmaking at ITE College Central, and Diploma in Digital Film and Television, at Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore. Five years of experience in studying and involving myself in a very demanding film industry that is constantly producing new creative ideas has turned me into a more pro-active and independent creative individual ready for any challenges. Currently working as a freelance Assistant Producer and Art Assistant. I'm also an experienced barista in the making too!

Assistant Producer
Freelanced for 3 months in Eaglevision, Mediacorp as an Assistant Producer for Warna Ramadan that is televised in Suria and uploaded in MeWatch! Was in charge of scheduling, finding talents/artists, and location scouting for various segments fr all of the 21 episodes.

Assistant Producer
Had a 3 months internship with Weave Pte Ltd as an Assistant Producer where I was involved in 6 commercial and web-series shoots. Craft Gin Club, Singapore Tourism Board, Amazon Singapore and Singapore Police Force are some notable clients that I had worked with on shoots.

Filmmaking Student
Spent 3 years in Temasek Polytechnic for a Diploma in Digital Film and Television. Had done 4 student projects - short film and documentary genre; including a 15-min final year project as a Production Designer. Was involved in Temasek Open House 2020 as a Camera Operator.

Wardrobe Assistant
Freelanced for almost 3 months as a Wardrobe Assistant in Abundant Productions for a commissioned web-drama series called "A Quiet Taste"; published in meWATCH. The drama is about a quiet woman who suspects foul play when her neighbour’s daughter drops dead at a dinner party. A show about food, fellowship… and murder.

Had a 3 months internship with Atypical Films Pte Ltd as a Wardrobe and Art Assistant where I was involved in 3 big-budgeted commercial videos. Singapore Tourism Board, Singapore Bicentennial Office and Republic of Singapore Air Force are some notable clients that I had worked with on shoots.

Filmmaking Student
Spent 2 years in ITE College Central for a Higher Nitec in Cinematography (Filmmaking). Had done 6 student short film projects and student commercial videos; mostly as an Art Director. Was involved in ITE College Central's School of Design Higher Nitec Graduation Video 2019 as a Producer.

2nd Camera Assistant
Had a 1-month internship with mm2 Entertainment in Kuala Lumpur as a 2nd Camera Assistant for an action-horror Chinese featured film called "HellHole." The featured film had shot various locations which included an abandoned WW2 hospital, a deserted high school and a mortuary that the Art department had made from scratch in a studio.
